美亞置業澄清聲明

由於有個別人士對於2016年購買美國休斯頓房產後,對其物業管理公司不滿向香港警方投訴,香港警方於2018年6月要求本公司美亞置業投资有限公司(以下简稱美亞置業)、董事長梁健立先生(以下简稱梁先生)及本公司高層協助調查·事件被網媒傳真社未有如實報導及後將其文章轉發至其他媒體報導,致使本公司美亞置業商譽與美亞置業董事長梁先生的個人聲譽嚴重受損,影響深遠,本公司對此深感遗憾。

經深入調查後,警方於2022年已正式結束調查。特此,本公司作出嚴正聲明及澄清:美亞置業、梁先生及其高層從沒就該關事件被立案起訴。

本公司律師已向有關網媒發出律師函追究責任,由於網媒傳真社於去年已宣佈停止運作及公司清盤,本公司無從追究。如任何人士或機構再轉载有關報導,本公司将保留一切追究權利。

Announcement By Premier Capital Limited

In June 2018, the Hong Kong Police requested assistance of our Company, Premier Capital Ltd. (hereinafterreferred to as "The Company"), our Chairman of the Board, Mr Philip Kin Lap Leung (hereinafter referred toas "Mr. Leung") and several senior executives of the Company in the investigation of a complaint regardingthe purchase of Houston USA property investments by some investors. After a prolonged and in-depthinvestigation, the police had confirmed that there was no evidence to support the allegations made bythose investors against the Company. The written confirmation by the Hong Kong Police is sufficient proofthat there was no wrong doing by the Company. Regrettably, the incident was inaccurately reported by theonline media FACTWIRE NEWS AGENCY (hereinafter refer to as "FACTWIRE") in their article published on14 January 2019. This false and misleading publication by FACTWIRE has now become libelous for thedecision of no case by the police and created a far-reaching negative impact on the creditability of theCompany. FACTWIRE also circulated the said article to other media, which has caused serious damage tothe goodwill of the Company as well as the reputation of Mr. Leung.

The Company hereby announces and clarifies that: Premier Capital Limited, Mr. Leung and the Company'ssenior management are innocent and have never been prosecuted in relation to the complaint.

The Company's legal representative has written to FACTWIRE to demand the removal of the inaccuratearticle. However, FACTWIRE has already ceased operation and is liquidated by the Companies Registry. TheCompany reserves its right to take legal action against any person or organization who reprints, circulatesre-posts or by whatever means publishes the said libelous article.
